Dr. Shallimar Jones, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Researcher, Assistant Professor and Published Author. She graduated with honors from UNC-Chapel Hill and obtained her Master's and Doctorate from Michigan State University.
She continued her training at Minnesota Children's Hospitals and Clinics and completed Postdoctoral training at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
She created the E-IQ (TM) method including the board game!!! She is one of very few solo black female board game designers.
Dr. Jones specializes in Pediatric Health Psychology, Child/Adolescent Psychology and Women's Issues (e.g., pregnancy and fertility).
She has almost 2 decades of experience working with families and organizations regarding issues of emotional intelligence, coaching for individuals, families and business all around the world.
She has dedicated her career to helping others achieve their goals.
She has consulted with the DoD for transgender care.
Dr. Jones has lived and worked abroad for many years has international and domestic experience.
Dr. Jones has been featured in various magazines and peer reviewed research journals discussing her work.

After 20 years of experience working as a Licensed Psychologist, Dr. SJ Consulting, LLC, is now offering a broad range of coaching and consultancy services. These include consultancy for businesses and schools in the areas of Emotional Intelligence with the E-IQ (TM) Method, diversity training and business coaching to schools or organizations. In addition, we also offer individual individual coaching across many areas such as individual, parenting and child development.

As an expert in Gender Dysphoria, Dr. SJ Consulting has advised the military on developing guidance for the inclusion and treatment of transgender individuals and their families. Moreover, Dr. SJ lectures and consults on these issues right across the world.
